本學會為依法設立、非以營利為目的之公益性社會團體，以推廣安全駕駛為宗旨。

本會之任務如下，並依相關法令規定推動及執行：

一、針對消防、救災、軍事等特殊單位之編制人員，精進其對於車輛駕駛技術、安全駕駛方式、車輛電子配備暨機械運作原理、正確操作方式及使用時機。

二、全民安全駕駛與禮儀教育推廣。

三、越野安全駕駛與禮儀及生態保護教育推廣

四、國際車輛法規及安全駕駛學術與技術交流推廣

五、各種國際賽車、越野賽車教育推廣
